17-Jul-2009: Heinrich Haussler won today's 13th stage of the Tour de France in spectacular fashion by using his tremendous descending skills and then holding on to his lead over the succession of climbs for a great solo victory. Thor Hushovd also had a good day taking back the green jersey by taking 6th place in the stage. He now leads Mark Cavendish (Columbia-HTC) by 5 points.
Haussler time trialled home over four minutes ahead of second place rider Amets Txurruka - using to the full the aerodynamic design of his S3 Cervelo.
