Team Cycle Logic are on fire at the moment - Fantastic set of results in the early season races
Springtime Pursuit 1 14/2/09:
Gary and Chris made the journey up to Exeter for the opening road race of the South West calendar. It wasn’t to be Gary’s day as he suffered a rear wheel puncture just after the first lap which was the end of his race. Meanwhile Chris was working hard in his group putting in long turns on the front to try and stay away from the scratch group. The scratch group caught them on the final lap, and although Chris was tired from all the work he had put in he still managed a top 15 place at the finish.
Springtime Pursuit 3 28/2/09:
Gary and Chris entered the final pursuit and after the second pursuit was cancelled due to a bad crash half way through the race, everyone just wanted to finish today. Gary’s group had been joined by the scratch group after the first lap and were working very well together trying to shut the 12 minute gap down that the first groups on the road had started with. The race came together on the final lap and it was down to the finishing hill to decide who had the legs. Gary was in a small lead group at the top of the climb, but with 200m to go he was involved in a crash and went down hard ending his day. Chris worked hard up the hill and finished a great 8th, beating some good opposition to pick up his first points of the season.
St Austell Wheelers - Sporting Open 20 miles TT S6/18S 1/03/09:
Team cycle logic had a strong team of Chris Lobb, Gary Chambers, Andy Ellis and Jeff Houghton entered today in the first Cornish cup event of the year. However Gary’s bad luck continued and he didn’t make the start line due to technical problems with his bike. Chris had a storming ride to finish 3rd. considering he had heavy legs from yesterday’s pursuit this was a great ride. Andy and Jeff also rode well finishing 6th and 9th.
CS Dynamo 2up TT 8/03/09:
Gary and Chris represented team cycle logic in this 2 man time trial held in Devon. They did an excellent ride, finishing as 3rd team. All of the South West’s best time triallists were on the start sheet today, with almost 50 teams entered, making this an excellent result for the team!

Somerset RC Criterium 14/03/09:
Gary, Chris and Andy travelled up to Ilton. The sun was out, but the wind was very strong, with a block head wind on one part of the course. Gary rode strong and finished 5th today after being involved in a couple of different attacks off of the front during the race. Chris and Andy also rode well finishing safely in the pack.
Pittards Trophy Road Race. 29/03/09:
Team cycle logic entered a very strong team in today’s road race held in Yeovil. The team was Stuart Pickering, Andy Ellis, Jason Pascoe, Chris Lobb and Gary Chambers. A big field of 80 riders started the race in blue skies and sunshine. There were several crashes during the race and the team did well to avoid them. As the last lap of the course approached the whole field was still together, Chris decided it was time to have a go. He attacked off the front taking one other rider with him. They built up a good lead and were looking like they may stay away. Unfortunately they were caught with only a couple of miles to go, but this was a great effort by Chris. So the race came down to a sprint finish, Gary managed to position himself perfectly going into the final turn and sprinted strongly to finish a very good 2nd place.
